Ben Hennon on his way to Best Line award glory
Team Chain Reaction BMX rider Ben Hennon joined 24 of the world’s best BMX athletes in the luxurious surroundings of the Grand Palais, Paris, over the weekend to compete under Europe’s largest glass roof in a battle of technique versus style at Red Bull Skylines.

Watch Ben in action now:

Ryan Nyquist took first place ahead of fellow American Dennis Enarson, with Daniel Dhers (Venezuela) finishing third. Team Chain Reaction BMX rider Ben Hennon finished fourth overall and also picked up the Best Line award.

We spoke to Ben after the finals on his season to date: "2012 has been a great year for me so far," he said. "Deffo the most successful year of my career. For me highlights are riding at the Olympics and the X-Games. Red Bull Skylines was the best event of the year . Totally awesome! My plan for next year is to do better than this year. I feel really good on my bike, but I feel like I can be better so want to see how far I can push myself."

Ryan Nyquist won the Best Tricks award and Dennis Enarson secured the Riders’ Choice gong.

The sell-out crowd were treated to a stunning display of riding in the epic surroundings of the Grand Palais. Tricks included a 720° Bus, Backflip Suicide and Nothing Cancan from Nyquist, plus a 360° No Foot Cancan to Whip to Bus from Dhers.

We wanted a highly technical park, both fast and aerial,” he said.
